Yesterday watched, then taught,

Other times dark
Some days are long
As a stroll in the park

Always right on time
And well worth the wait

From Summer til Spring
Through Winter to Fall
You bring me so much
Asking nothing at all

Of lasting and fleeting
The music too special
For skips or repeating

The masterful craft
A skill yet to hone
The beautiful canvas
And uncut stone

A long funny story
An angry curse word
My promises kept
And all my prayers heard

Along bumpy roads

Enlighten my mind
Enriching my soul
Unable to capture
And hard to let go

Sound, smell, touch, and taste
